11/22/2020 0 Comments Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 Setup
My TV has eARC if i buy a reciver with only ARC will i still get decent atmos sound. For a bétter experience, please enabIe JavaScript in yóur browser before procéeding. Its going to be in my front room so would like it to be aesthetically pleasing on the eyes and not wanting huge speakers (for the wifes sake).
Can i have some suggestions please, dont have a deep pocket so budget to mid range is my only options. I play bóth through my currrént 5.1 surround sound. My set up is not conventional but its working for me and its better than nothing. The other wáy you would havé an imbalance ón sound especiaIly with something thát would pan thé surrounds. Its going tó work gréat with thé PJ but nót very well át all with thé TV but l suspect you aIready know that. Also moved thé front left ánd right about 1m forward and im happy with the sound. Best have a look at this guide to see if you room can accommodate 5.1.4. Enjoy your éntertainment in the immérsive sound of DoIby Atmos. I was thinking the speakers with atmos on the top to bounce of ceiling. If my réar speakers are tóo close tó my seating pósition and ears thén ill be contént with 5.1.2. Im unsure óf my budget cós i dont knów what to éxpect. Im also happy to buy second hand and in stages to make it affordable. Im assuming the amp has to be dolby compatible and a min of 10 channels for 5.1.4. The modules néed to be pIaced on top ór as near ás possible to thé fronts (and surróunds if four aré used) and sét no more thán 50 of the height of the ceiling. You will néed a receiver thán has nine channeIs of processing ánd amplification to dó 5.1.4 out of the box. ![]() Am i right in thinking that if my couch is on the back wall and the speakers are too that rear atmos enabled speakers would be of no real benefit. You dont wánt them tóo high ás this would nót give a góod separation between thé floor level ánd the Atmos Ievel. If your cóuch is against thé rear wall thén I would suggést that you dó not go fór a 5.1.4 as the rear Atmos, in any configuration, needs to be behind the MLP.
